Itinerary
On the first day of our Morocco 14 days tour from Casablanca, we will pick you up from the airport of Mohamed V at Casablanca. Then, we will take you to the accommodation to relax. Depending on your arrival, it’s possible that we take you to have a walk in the old Medina.
We will start our day across Rabat and end up in Tangier. There many things that we will explore. To start with, we will visit the mosque of Hassan II in Casablanca. Then, we will drive across Rabat to visit the Kasbah of Les Oudayas, one of the UNESCO heritage. Also, we will visit the mosque of Hassan tower and Chellah, the roman ruins. After that, we will drive to the cave of Heracles and Cape Spartel in Tangier. Your accommodation will be waiting for you around the old Medina of Tangier.
The third day of our 14 days tour from Casablanca will begin from visiting the old Medina of Tangier. There, we will take you to visit the first American Legation outside its country. Then, we will drive through Tetouan the white dove to arrive at Akchour waterfalls. Later, we will drive to spend the night at Chefchaouen.
Chefchaouen blue city in the Rif mountains, it’s also called the blue Perl of Morocco because of its blue walls. Also, it was established by the Morish and the Jewish in 1471. Here, we will visit Ras El Ma and the Square of Wetat Lhmam where the Kasbah. Also, we will hike up for an overview of the city.
After we finish visiting Chaouen, we will head 3h to arrive at Volubilis, the Roman ruins. After that, we will drive to the cultural Fes to spend the night.
Fes is one of Morocco’s imperial cities. That is to say, it was the first capital city of Morocco before Marrakech, Meknes, and Rabat. In our Morocco 2 week tour itinerary, we will visit two cities with local guides. To start with, one of Fes guides will come to your accommodation in the morning. Then, you will begin by entering from the gate of Bab Boujloud, the blue gate. From there, you will visit both the Madrassa of Bou Inania and Attarine. Next, we will visit El Badi Palace and the University of Al–Karaouine, the oldest existing university by the Unesco. Not to mention, we will also take you to visit the ceramics and the Chaouara Tanneries, where they make leather.
You will have some free time to walk in the old Medina and Souk after was take you to your accommodation.
Our 6th day will be a long day driving from Fes toMerzouga, the Sahara. There are attractions we will stop to see. For example, we will stop to discover the statue of the Atlas lion in Ifrane, it was curved by a German prisoner to free himself. Also, we will stop at the cedar forest to visit the Barbary Macaque monkeys.
Moreover, we will make a quick stop at the dam of Errachidia and at the panoramic view of the Ziz valley. We will arrive at Merzouga late afternoon. Then, we will take you to spend overnight at a riad in Merzouga.
One day trip around Merzouga desert is to be the number 1 highlight of 14 days tour from Casablanca. In other words, we will take you on an adventure to experience the nomadic life. To start with, we will take you with our 4 WD to visit Khamlia, the small town of Gnawa people. There, they play castanets and drums to make beautiful music rhythms. Next, we will visit the Mine of Mifis, where they used to mine baryte, salt, and mascara.
There are many nomads who live in the Sahara desert of Merzouga. Therefore, we will visit them, and we will see how they live their life. After that, we will visit one of the biggest panoramic views of the Erg Chebbi sand dunes. Not to mention, we will also drive to explore the lake of Srij, where the immigrant birds of the flamingo. Also, we will visit one of the oases of the Berbers at Hassi Labied village.
Eventually, we will take you to experience the nomadic life at our Berber camp. To get there, we will take you on the camels across the sand dunes, we will make a stop for the sunset and continue to the tent. Here, our team of Berbers will play drams and djembes after they set fire. Then, you can walk up the sand dunes to watch a magnificent view of the stars and the Milkyway.
We will keep our 14 days tour in Morocco towards Dades Gorges. Before, you will do the camel ride back to the village of Merzouga. Then, we will drive across Rissani, the capital of Tafilalet, and also the origin city of the Alaouite dynasty. Thereafter, we will drive to the canyons of Todgha Gorges, where there is a river between 300m height rocks.
We will drive to Dades Gorges across Tinghir and some other small villages. Then, we will make a stop at the monkey fingers mountains and the curves of Tissdrine before we check-in the accommodation.
On this day, we will drive to visit many attractions before we arrive at Marrakech. Firstly, we will visit the rose valley cooperative of rose flowers. Secondly, we will drive to Ouarzazate, Ouallywood of Morocco. There, we will visit one of the Atlas studios where they make and rent material for movies. Thirdly, we will visit the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, the Berber fortress. Here, they made many parts of movies like the movie Lawrence of Arabia and Gladiator.
After lunch, we will drive across the High Atlas Mountains. We will make a stop at the point of 2260m and at the argan oil cooperative. Later, we will drive to Marrakech, and we will take you to your accommodation.
Marrakech is the second city that will be visited with a local guide. Then, you will visit the gardens of Majorelle and Menara. Next, you will walk in the Square of Jamaa El Fnaa and the Koutoubia mosque. Moreover, we will visit the Palaces of El Badi and Bahia. Also, Saadien’s tombs and the royal palace. Later, we will finish the 10th day of our 14 days tour from Casablanca by taking you to your accommodation.
Our 14 days tour from Casablanca includes a day trip to Ouzoud waterfalls, one of the most fascinating and visited attractions in Morocco. They are about 3h/160Km drive east from Marrakech. You will enjoy the falls of water that are about 110meters/360 feet. We will spend the day there and drive you back to Marrakech.
On this day, we will drive west to Mogador Essaouira. It is famous for its beach and seafood. Therefore, you will visit the port of Citadel and Sqala Kasbah. Later, you can have free time to walk in the old Medina of Essaouira. When you are ready, our driver will take you back to Marrakech.
We will take you on a relaxing day to Ourika Valley. We will pass by El Houz Plains to arrive at Tnin Ourika, the locals come to trade goods here. Then, we will drive across the river and we will make a stop at Setti Fatma village. Here, Moroccans escape the crowded city and come to enjoy the summer under the walnut trees. Our Morocco 2 week itinerary day trips are for relaxing and escaping from the cities. Later, we will drive to spend the night in the desert of Agafay.
This would be the last day of our 2-week Morocco grand tour itinerary. Therefore, we will drive you on the highway to Casablanca. You can choose to be dropped off at the airport or at the center of Casablanca.
