8 days Freeriding in Morocco

We will pick you up in Marrakech, and drive you to your comfortable, traditional riad in the stunning ancient medina. You will have a bike fitting, and we will then have a short bike tour of Marrakech to get you accustomed to your new ride. After, you will have time for exploring the souks, bargain with locals, browse through the handmade crafts, and soak up the vibrant atmosphere of the famous Jma el Fna square, before resting your body in the riad before the upcoming cycling adventure!

After breakfast, we will pick you up in our minvan, and we begin our drive south via the stunning Tizi N’Tichka mountain pass. We will then arrive in the mountain village of Agouim, where we prepare our bikes and start pedalling along a nice jeep track in between the northern flanks of the Mount Siroua and the imposing southern slopes of the High Atlas Range. We will continue on a steady climb on a mountain piste, passing some authentic Berber villages along the way. We will then arrive at our first camp, which is set in a stunning location above the village of Tidiliat at 1900m.

We begin with a gentle start on a paved secondary road before we start a tough climb which will take up up to a plateau with superb panoramic views of the High Atlas Mountains summits and the peaks of the Sirwa Range. Then we will ride our first single track through a narrow valley to reach an isolated Berber village. From the amazed look of the locals, you will realise that not many tourists make it way out here! After greetings and “salamouaalaikom“ we attack our second climb to berber house in the heart of the village at 1900m, where we will stay for the night, giving you an opportunity to learn more about this unique mountain culture.

Our morning cycling will begin on a single track which curves down the valley, before we reach a good climb that leads to a superb Berber village built on a cliff. We carry on pedalling up the valley to join the jeep track, a superb path that winds up to give you a stunning paranorma across the valley. We then head towards an isolated aazib (shepherds houses), where our camp is set in an amazing plateau at 2445m.

To we will leave our camp for a spectacular day riding through high plateaus surrounded by steep granite and basalt rock formations. We will ride down jeep and single tracks, finally reaching the final pass of the day which sits at 2305m. A cool downhill on a mountain piste will lead us to our last camping spot at 1935m.

Today, our ride links the Jebel Sirwa to the High Atlas Mountains. we ride fast running pistes punctuated by amazing villages all the way down to TifnoutValley. The afternoon profile is all uphill, with some regular to tough climbs till our guest house (berber house), for the night at 1860m.

A good morning climb to cross to the northern side of the Atlas Mountains. on top of the Passa t 2460m. weenjoy the superbviewsbeforeriding a superbdecent. our last wheel tours follow a lush valley that leads to Oued N’fis where our MTB Adventure ends. we pack our bike on the 4x4 and start a 2 hours drive to get to ourhotel or Riad in Marrakech Over night dinner is free.

After breakfast at your hotel , we will transfer you to the airport, or your next destination in Marrakech.
